BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following individual is hereby appointed to serve as a member of the City of Miami Office of Professional Compliance Advisory Panel for the remainder of an unexpired term ending December 6, 1993: APPOINTEE: NOMINATED BY: Peter Bellas, Esq. Odio REFERENCES City Manager ENCLOSURES: RECOMMENDAT I ON : .`-- It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution appointing an individual to fill a vacancy on the Office of Professional Compliance Advisory Panel. BACKGROUND: The Office of Professional Compliance requests the appointment of = one individual to the Advisory Panel to complete a term expiring December 6, 1993. One (1) vacancy will, be created by the removal of Ms. Jackie Bell for excessive absences. Section 2F(2) of Ordinance #10659 provides for the automatic removal of members from the Panel after three consecutive absences. Ms. Bell missed four consecutive meetings on August 11, 1992, October 13, 1992, November 10, 1992, and December 10, 1992. She has missed a total of five meetings. Her name is hereby certified for removal by the City Commission who shall fill the vacancy by appointment. ODIO City Manager Enclosed herein please find a copy of R-93-97 which was passed and adopted by the City of Miami Commission at its meeting held on February 9, 1993, appointing you to serve as a member of the City of Miami Office of Professional Compliance Advisory Panel. = Pursuant to Dade County Ordinance No. 77-13, and the Financial - Disclosure law, Chapter 112.3145, Florida Statutes, as a member of the OPC Advisory Panel, you will be required to file a - __ Statement of Financial Interests form with the Dade County Supervisor, Elections Department.
