AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 54 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "STREETS AND SIDEWALKS" BY AMENDING SECTION 54-104 ENTITLED "NONSTANDARD STREET WIDTHS" BY MODIFYING THE WIDTH OF A CERTAIN STREET; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND PROVIDING FOR AN j EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Article V of Chapter 54 of the Miami City Code i establishes base building line locations for all public streets within the City of Miami; and , WHEREAS, Royal Roads betteen Main Highway southeasterly to r / Its terminus at Bls ayne/ Bay Is landscape hand developed in harmony with the s a-e� and style of residences In the neighborhood; tt11d WHEREAS,(' he property ow//nEr�s\ abutting Royal Road have expressed a st ng desire reserving the landscaping and character of the roadway; an -J WHEREAS, the City Administration explained that to preserve the landscaping and scale of the aforementioned roadway in relation to the neighborhood residences, the zoned street width of this section of Royal Road would have to be reduced from 40 feet to 30 feet; and WHEREAS, the Police, Fire, Rescue and Inspection Services and Solid Waste Departments have evaluated the effects of the reduction of the zoned street width of this section of Royal Road on their operations and have no substantial objections;
