As I am sure you are aware, we have been working diligently with the City of
Homestead to build a permanent motorsports facility in that area which will
eventually house multiple races including the Grand Prix of Miami.
Because of the unexpected high infrastructure costs associated with the
parcel of land selected by the City of Homestead, it will be an impossibility
to complete Phase one of the project with the funding allocated by Dade
County.
As such, I an writing to you to advise you of our intent to continue to run
the GrandPr .x of Miami and other races at the present site in downtown Miami
and B5'1c me nial Park for the remainder of our lease (1997).
