AS VICE -MAYOR OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, TO SERVE A ONE YEAR TERM, COMMENCING AT 12:00 NOON ON DECEMBER 1, 1994. WHEREAS, City Charter Section 4(g) and City Code Section 2-14 provide for the election and appointment of Vice - Mayor to perform the duties of the Mayor during the absence or disability of the Mayor; and WHEREAS, the term of office for Vice -Mayor shall be one year; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 93-700, adopted November 23, 1993, the City Commission elected and appointed Commissioner Miller J. Dawkins to serve as Vioe-Mayor for a one year term, commencing 12:00 noon on December 1, 1993; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference thereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. _ CITY C4r�2�SOSFI � 3�EETING DEC r. 1 1994 Resolution No. 94- 871 Section 2. Commissioner J.L. PLUMMER, JR. is hereby elected and appointed as Vice -Mayor of the City of Miami, Florida, to serve a one year term, commencing at 12:00 Noon on December 1, 1994. Section 3.
