Clark City of Miami 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 Dear Mayor Clark: I want to take this opportunity to bring your attention to a very exciting community - based sports extravaganza, The First Annual Youth Sports Bowl. I believe the Sports Youth Bowl would be an excellent pre -Super Bowl activity for South Florida's communities. The event is the brainchild of Mr. Anthony Dawkins, President and founder of the Inner City Youth Center (ICYC). I have been impressed with Mr. Dawkins' success with inner city youths in Miami for several years and have continued to support all of his activities. The ICYC Sports Youth Bowl is interested in using the Orange Bowl Stadium as the location for its inaugural kick-off event and coordinating its activities with the Super Bowl Host Committee and other local organizations. The ICYC and Mr. Dawkins has earned my confidence and the confidence of this community; I know the Sports Youth Bowl would be a great way for the Super Bowl Host Committee, NFL and City of Miami to allow Dade County youths the chance to participate in the 1994 Super Bowl. I urge you to consider this proposal and work with Mr. Dawkins and others in this community that would like to see this event become a reality. If you have any questions regarding this event please contact my District Director, Guy Forchion at 381-9541, thank you for your time. Sincerely, CARRIE P.
