HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-94-0805J-94-885 10/25/94 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 92-620, ADOPTED OCTOBER 8, 1992, THEREBY CHANGING THE NAME OF THE LAW FIRM WITH WHICH CRAIG J. FREGER IS ASSOCIATED WITH FOR THE LEGAL REPRESENTATION OF BENJAMIN BOYKIN. ET AL. V. CITY OF MIAMI. ET ,CASE NO. 88-2033-CIV-KEHOE, FROM COFFEY, ARAGON, MARTIN AND BURLINGTON, P.A. TO LASRIS, SAMUELS & FREGER, P.A. WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 92-620, adopted October 8, 1992, the City Attorney was authorized to pay Craig J. Freger of the law firm of Coffey, Aragon, Martin and Burlington, P.A. an amount not to exceed $25,000 for the representation of Kenneth McCullough in Benjamin Boykin et al v City of Miami et al., Case No. 88-2033-CIV-KEHOE; and WHEREAS, Craig J. Freger is no longer associated with Coffey, Aragon, Martin and Burlington, P.A. and is now associated with the law firm of Lasris, Samuels & Freger, P.A.; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 2 of Resolution No. 92-620, adopted October 8, 1992, is hereby amended in the following particulars: 1/ Words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted. Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. CITY COMUSSIO,N MEFTI*YG OF NOV 4 7 1994 Resolution No. 94- 805 "Section 2. The City Attorney is hereby authorized to pay Craig J. Freger, Esq., of the law firm ofP.A. Lasris. Samuels & Freger. P.A., an amount not to exceed $25,000 at an hourly rate of $150 for services rendered as substitute counsel in the legal representation of former Fire Chief Kenneth C. McCullough in Boykin, et al. v. City of Miami. et al., Case No. 88-2033-CIV- KEHOE with funds therefor for said payment be±ng hereby allocated from the Self -Insurance and Insurance Trust Fund." Section 2. Freger is associated with for the legal representation of Kenneth McCullough in Boykin, et al vs City of Miami. at al., Case No. 88-2033-CIV-KEHOE.
