HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-94-0714J-94-794 9/22/94 RESOLUTION NO. 9 4_ 714 A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING OCTOBER 15, 1994, AS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS DAY; FURTHER ALLOCATING AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $3,000 FROM SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND ACCOUNTS IN SUPPORT OF THE DADE COUNTY ALLIANCE AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WALK-A-THON AND RALLY TO BE HELD AT THE AT&T AMPHITHEATER AT BAYFRONT PARK AND VICINITY BY THE DADE COUNTY ALLIANCE AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15, 1994; SAID ALLOCATION CONDITIONED UPON THE ORGANIZERS COMPLYING WITH ANY CONDITIONS OR LIMITATIONS AS MAY BE PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. October 15, 1994 is hereby proclaimed as Domestic Violence Awareness Day. Section 2. An amount not to exceed $3,000 in support of the Dade County Alliance Against Domestic Violence Walk -a -thou and Rally to be held at the AT&T Amphitheater at Bayfront Park and vicinity by the Dade County Alliance Against Domestic Violence on Saturday, October 15, 1994, is hereby allocated from Special Programs and Accounts.
