RESOLUTION NO. 9 4 — 705.1
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND
SINCEREST CONDOLENCES OF THE CITY COMMISSION
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AND ITS
CITIZENS TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF
RICHARD E. ALBURY, UPON HIS UNTIMELY DEATH.
WHEREAS, Richard E. Albury ("Nassau Daddy Shoeshine Man"),
who recently passed away, was respected and admired as a man who
with skill and expertise provided shoeshine services to people
throughout Dade County; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Albury took great pride in his work, and
established himself as a dedicated tradesman who always provided
for his family and community with grace and dignity; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission, on behalf
of the City of Miami and its citizens, to express its deepest
sympathy to the family and friends of Richard E. Albury;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CDMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1. On behalf of the citizens of the City of
Miami, the City Commission hereby conveys to the family and
friends of Richard E. AAlbury, its deepest sympathy and sincerest
condolences, upon his untimely death.
Section 2. This Resolution is offered by the City
Commission as a token of its respect and esteem.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of September 1994.
