BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Seotion 1. BACKGROUND: The Department of Equal Opportunity/Diversity Programs respectfully requests the confirmation of one (1) individual to the Affirmative Action Advisory Board. Females and Hispanics are underrepresented on the Board, comprising 17% and 42%, compared to 46% and 62%r respectively, of the City of Miami general population, The Board requests the confirmation of a certified bargaining representative of City employees as determined by the Fraternal Order of Police.
