HAND DELIVERY We sincerely appreciate the time you took to meet with us earlier today. Pursuant to our conversation during that meeting, please accept this as formal verification that you have identified funding from the City of Miami for Concerned African Women's "YOUTH PAC" proposal in the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000). Furthermore, according to your directive to your assistant Mr. Carlos Smith, this item will be sponsored and placed on the July 26, 1994 City of Miami Commission Agenda by your office. Because we have witnessed the positive effects of our program over the years, we graciously accept the generous support received from your office, which will allow us to implement this project and continue attacking the problems of "at risk" youth, as it relates to overall self- esteem, low academic performance, crime and mutual disrespect among the different cultures in our community. Please be advised that we are prepared to follow whatever procedures have been established to expedite this matter, and look forward to seeing you at the July 26th commission meeting. Again, thank you for your consideration and support. Should you have any questions or require additional information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
