A you suggested, we met with Terry Griffin and Dianne Johnson. We discussed the possibility not only of the using Peacock Park for girl's fast pitch softball but also Virginia Key for boy's baseball. Today we are meeting with Ana Sardina of Asset Management to discuss the latter. As you now, we would like to be using both facilities at the beginning of the school year, if possible. Thus, it is necessary for us to move at a brisk pace. At this time I would like to request a personal appearance before the City Commission before the i•ece.ss to discuss the use of the Virginia Key site. My understanding is that there are meetings July 14th and July 21 st. Both dates are convenient. As you know, we will be gone until the end of June, but I will update you about the status of the negotiations as soon as I get back.
