A RESOLUTION CLASSIFYING NINETY-EIGHT (98) STREET HAWK LIGHTBARS, MODEL # S1 AS CATEGORY "A" SURPLUS STOCK, SHOULD SUCH LIGHTBARS BECOME AVAILABLE; FURTHER STIPULATING THAT, IN SUCH CASE, SAID LIGHTBARS SHALL BE DONATED TO THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE (FOP), SUCH DONATION TO BE VALID AND EFFECTIVE BETWEEN JULY 14, 1994 AND JULY 13, 1995, UPON THE EXECUTION OF THE APPROPRIATE RELEASE DOCUMENTS; SAID EQUIPMENT TO BE USED FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A REWARD FUND. WHEREAS, the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) is requesting that ninety-eight (98) surplus Street Hawk Lightbars, Model #S1, be donated to its organization; and WHEREAS, the FOP wishes to offer these donated lightbars for sale to other municipalities and use the monies derived from these sales for the establishment of a Reward Fund; and WHEREAS, the City of Miami has ninety-eight (98) surplus Street Hawk Lightbars, Model #S1, available for sale or donation; and WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Commission that the above noted surplus equipment be donated to the FOP; ?day COlmssif, x WEETING OF J U I(i ;1 n 1,iq� lt"olution No, 94-- 161. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section I. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference thereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. Ninety-eight (98) surplus Street Hawk Lightbars, Model #S1, are hereby classified as Category "A" stock, should such equipment become available as surplus stock. Section 3. Within the period of July 14, 1994 and July 13, 1995, said Category "A" surplus stock equipment, if available, is hereby donated, upon the execution of the appropriate release documents, to the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) to be used for the establishment of a Reward Fund.
