Dear Mr. Visiedo, vt ;
Mr. Philip Simms has Infomned me that you might be in a position to help St. George's
College, a Roman Catholic high school founded and operated by the Society of Jesus in Jamaica.
I am requesting your assistance in obtaining some well -needed materials for our school.
I have been told that Dade Country public School has a warehouse of discarded educational
equipment and other materials or use to a school. I would greatly appreciate whatever you could
do to assist us in obtaining any of the materials you have at hand that you would be willing to
contribute to St. t'3eorge's College.
As you are. aware, we are a third world country, and we would be happy to receive some
of your equipment that you would consider out -dated. In addition, we might be able to repair or
recondition some of the equipment that has fallen into a state of disrepair.
If it is at all possible for you to meet with us, we will have a representative come to
Miami and look at whatever you are offering. We have alxeady arranged with the Jamaican
Government with tegards to the transportation of whatever you can donate to us.
Thanking you in advance, I look forward to hearing fronn you. May God bless you. If you
have any questions, please fax Trre at 909-922-4072.
