The regular meetings of the Civil Service Board for the month of
January are scheduled for January 4 and 18, 1994. To ensure
continuity in the seating of the new Board, it becomes essential, that
the confirmation of the elected, employee members be made at the
meeting of January 13 as it is the same date as the expiration date
of the current elected Board members. Additionally, if the
confirmation is made at the January 13 Commission meeting, the Board
would be able to hold its regularly scheduled meeting of January 18.
