RETIREMENT ACTING ADMINISTRATOR TRUST BOARD LIUNA - John Nigro It is recommended that the City Commission appoint Mr. John Nigro as submitted by LIUNA as a replacement member of the City of Miami General Employees' and Sanitation Employees' Board of Trustees per the attached resolution in accordance with Ordinance No. 10002. City of Miami Code Section 40-227(A), (Ordinance No. 10002), provides for the appointment of a nine member board of trustees to administer and manage the retirement plan known as the "City of Miami General Employees' and Sanitation Employees' Retirement Trust." Of these nine members, one is to be selected by the City Manager, two by the general employees (AFSCME bargaining unit), and two by the sanitation employees (LIUNA bargaining unit). Four independent trustees are to be selected upon recommendation, by the two bargaining units, by the City Commission. Ms. Diane L. Ragone, Business Manager, has submitted the name of Mr. John Nigro for consideration as a replacement of Ms. Krista Woods due to her no longer belonging to the LIUNA bargaining unit. The term of office would begin on November 17, 1995 and expire on November 16, 1997.
