(Dames & Moore) is pleased to present this Phase II Environmental Assessment Status Report of the Knight Manor Homes property located in Miami, Dade County, Florida. Monitor well installation and groundwater sampling activities have been completed at the subject property. The monitor wells sampled and their locations are as follows: • k'I I 1- located within the former tank pit on the northeastern outparcel, at the corner of N.W. 7th Avenue and N.W. 69th Street. • DMMW-1D - located east of the former tank pit. • STMW-3D - located south of the former tank pit. • DMMW-2D - located southwest of the former tank pit, outside of the fenced area. • DMMW-3D - located west of the former tank pit, outside of the fenced area. • DMMW-4D - located south of N.W. 69th Street, within the residential housing area. • DMMW-SD - located southwest of N.W. 68th Street and N.W. 7th Court, within the residential housing area. • CCMW-2 - located to the west of Church's Fried Chicken. Levine LHL Housing Corporation September 28, 1995 Page 2 Groundwater samples were collected on September 25 and 27, 1995. Prior to sampling, each monitor well was purged of at least five well casing volumes, and purged further until pH, temperature, and conductivity readings had stabilized. The samples were properly preserved and transferred to Precision Environmental Laboratory, Inc., of Miramar, Florida, for analysis. Preliminary laboratory data indicates that the subject property has not been environmentally impacted within the surficial zone. However, tetrachloroethene was detected at 6.84 micrograms per liter (µg/L) in DMMW-ID, located (off -site) adjacent to the out -parcel at the corner of N.W 7th Avenue and N.W. 69th Street.
