BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
CITY COMMISSION

FLORIDA:
Section 1. Formal competitive bidding procedures for the
emergency repair of the irrigation system at Curtis Park are
hereby waived by a four-fifths (4/5ths) affirmative vote of the
City Commission.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized) to
proceed with the award of a contract, in a form acceptable to the
City Attorney, for said repair, in an amount not to exceed
$15,000 and in as practicable and expeditious a manner as
possible, with funds therefor hereby allocated from a funding
source tv be identified by the City Manager.
~ The herein authorizationts further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed by the City
Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code provisions.
A RESOLUTION, BY A FOUR-FIFTHS (4/5THS)
AFFIRMATIVE VOTE OF THE CITY COMMISSION,
WAIVING FORMAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING PROCEDURES
FOR THE EMERGENCY REPAIR OF THE IRRIGATION
SYSTEM AT CURTIS PARK; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO PROCEED WITH THE AWARD OF A
CONTRACT,IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY
ATTORNEY, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $15,000
AND IN AS PRACTICABLE AND EXPEDITIOUS A
MANNER AS POSSIBLE; ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR
FROM A FUNDING SOURCE TO BE IDENTIFIED BY THE
CITY MANAGER.

Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
