HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-95-0325J-95-644 5/1/95 RESOLUTION NO. 9 5- 3 2 5 A RESOLUTION RELATED TO A FUND-RAISING EVENT TO BENEFIT CHRIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH'S SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM; WAIVING THE RENTAL FEE ON MAY 26, 1995 FOR USE OF THE COCONUT GROVE EXHIBITION CENTER FOR SAID EVENT; SAID WAIVER CONDITIONED UPON THE ORGANIZERS: (1) PAYING FOR ALL OTHER NECESSARY COSTS OF CITY SERVICES AND APPLICABLE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH SAID EVENT; (2) OBTAINING INSURANCE TO PROTECT THE CITY IN THE AMOUNT AS PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE; AND (3) COMPLYING WITH ALL CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS AS MAY BE PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The rental fee for use of the Coconut Grove Exhibition Center on May 26, 1995 is hereby waived for a fund- raising event to benefit Christ Episcopal Church's Scholarship Program. Section 2. The herein waiver is hereby conditioned upon the organizers: (1) paying for all other necessary costs of City services and applicable fees associated with said event; (2) obtaining insurance to protect the City in the amount as prescribed by the City Manager or his designee; and (3) complying with all conditions and limitations as may be prescribed by the City Manager or his designee.
