RESOLUTION NO. 9 5^ 228
A RESOLUTION RELATED TO THE CUBAN
MUNICIPALITIES FAIR TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE
CUBAN MUNICIPALITIES FAIR CORPORATION ON
APRIL 6-9, 1995, ON THE GROUNDS OF THE
FLAGLER DOG TRACK, AUTHORIZING THAT SAID FAIR
SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS ONE OF THE TWO
TEMPORARY SPECIAL EVENTS PERMITTED PER SITE
PER YEAR PURSUANT TO SECTION 906.9 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 11000, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED;
FURTHER, WAVING POLICE DEPARTMENT SURCHARGE
FEES FOR SAID EVENT; CONDITIONING SAID
AUTHORIZATION AND WAIVER UPON THE ORGANIZERS
PAYING FOR ALL NECESSARY COSTS OF CITY
SERVICES AND APPLICABLE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH
SAID EVENT AND OBTAINING INSURANCE TO PROTECT
THE CITY IN THE AMOUNT AS PRESCRIBED BY THE
CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Cuban Municipalities Fair to be conducted
by The Cuban Municipalities Fair Corporation on April 6-9, 1995,
on the grounds of the Flagler Dog Track is hereby authorized and
shall not be counted as one of the two temporary special events
permitted per site, per year, pursuant to Section 906.9 of
Ordinance No. 11000, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami,
Florida, as amended.
Section 2. Police Department surcharge fees related to
said event are hereby waived.

Section 3. The herein authorization and waiver are
hereby conditioned upon the organizers paying for all costs of
City services and applicable fees associated with said event and
obtaining insurance to protect the City in the amount as
prescribed by the City Manager or his designee.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
