(3)
At the City Commission meeting of March 9, 1995, two resolutions (R-95-181 and R-95-182)
passed in connection with revocable permits to the Jefatura Militar Conjunta, Brigade 2506 and
to National Journalists Association of Cuba in Exile for use of the Manuel Artime Community
Center. The transcript of said meeting clearly state that both permits were on a month -to -month
basis, yet both resolutions are for an initial one-year period, which term may be extended for
additional one year periods upon approval by the City Manager or his designee.
We request that you review the attached transcript and resolutions because we do not feel the
legislation adequately reflects the intention of the City Commission. It Is our opinion that said
resolutions need to be amended.
