A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE A REVOCABLE PERMIT, IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, TO JEFATURA MILITAR CONJUNTA, BRIGADE 2506, INC., FOR USE OF SPACE AT THE MANUEL ARTIME COMMUNITY CENTER, LOCATED AT 900 SOUTHWEST 1 STREET, ROOM 206, MIAMI, FLORIDA, SAID REVOCABLE PERMIT TO BE: (1) AT A FEE OF $1.00 ANNUALLY, (2) EFFECTIVE ON A MONTH TO MONTH BASIS, AND (3) IN ACCORDANCE WITH TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTAINED IN SAID REVOCABLE PERMIT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorizedl.to issue a Revocable Permit, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, to Jefatura Militar Conjunta, Brigade 2506, Inc., for use of space at the Manual Artime Community Center, located at 900 Southwest 1 Street, Room 206, Miami, Florida, said Revocable Permit to be: (1) on a month to month basis, (2) at a fee of one dollar ($1.00) annually, and (3) in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in said Revocable Permit. Section 2. F e n City Clerk DATE August 15, 1995 FILE SUEUECT : Manuel Artime Community Center Permits for Office Space REFERENCES: ENCLOSURES: R 95-181 and R 95-182 (3) At the City Commission meeting of March 9, 1995, two resolutions (R-95-181 and R-95-182) passed in connection with revocable permits to the Jefatura Militar Conjunta, Brigade 2506 and to National Journalists Association of Cuba in Exile for use of the Manuel Artime Community Center. The transcript of said meeting clearly state that both permits were on a month -to -month basis, yet both resolutions are for an initial one-year period, which term may be extended for additional one year periods upon approval by the City Manager or his designee. We request that you review the attached transcript and resolutions because we do not feel the legislation adequately reflects the intention of the City Commission.
