HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-95-0049J-95-58 12-22-94 RESOLUTION NO. 9 5 49 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO REALLOCATE $250,000 FROM THE SUPPLEMENTAL_ DISASTER RELIEF FUND AS FOLLOWS: $130,000 FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 331391-HADLEY PARK RECREATION BUILDING RENOVATION AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF A WATER MAIN ALONG A PORTION OF NORTHWEST 50TH STREET ADJACENT TO CHARLES HADLEY PARK OLYMPIC POOL COMPLEX; AND $120,000 FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 341201- JEFFERSON REAVES HEALTH CLINIC. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA; Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to reallocate $250,000 from the supplemental disaster relief fund as follows: $130,000 for Capital Improvement Project No. 331391-Hadley Park Recreation Building Renovation and the construction of a water main along a portion of Northwest 50th Street adjacent to Charles Hadley Park Olympic Pool Complex; and $120,000 for Capital Improvement Project No. 341201-Jefferson Reaves Health Clinic. KEARSON Q N JO S, III ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY CIT ATTO EY 2 95- 49 CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA �� INTER -OFFICE MEMORANDUM TO : Honorable Mayor and Members DATE DEC 2 2 1994 FILE of the City Commission SUBJECT Supplemental Disaster Relief Fund Grant/ FROM : REFERENCES Ces Reallocation City er ENCLOSURES: For City Commission Meeting of 1/12/95 RECOMMENDATION: It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution authorizing the City Manager to reallocate $250,000 from the supplemental disaster relief fund grant as follows: $130,000 for Capital Improvement Project No. 331391-Hadley Park Recreation Building Renovation and the construction of a water main along a portion of northwest 50th street adjacent to Charles Hadley Park Olympic Pool Complex; and $120,000 for Capital Improvement Project No. 341201-Jefferson Reaves Health Clinic, BACKGROUND: In the 1993-1994 "Supplemental Disaster Relief Fund Grant, Final Statement of Community Development Objectives and Projected Use of Funds", $250,000 are allocated for improvements at Charles Hadley Park. Commissioner Miller Dawkins has requested that $130,000 be reallocated for infrastructure improvements at the Jefferson Reaves Health Clinic in Overtown. It is therefore, recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution in its entirety. Attachments: Proposed Resolution 95- 49 3��
