BACKGROUND The Department of Public Works, in an effort to serve all residents of the City of Miami, has determined that it is appropriate to increase the contract dated April 14, 1994 between the City of Miami and Tecina International, Inc., for the Redevelopment of Peacock Park Project in the amount of $14,700.00 for the necessary extra work. The City Commission awarded a contract to Tecina International, Inc. for the Redevelopment of Peacock Park Project No. 331359, in the amount of $105,369.46 on April 14, 1994. Generally, the project consisted of a complete rebuilding of the softball field, which included a new oval backstop, dugouts with players benches, a new irrigation system, new sod and construction of a new terrace area complete with new brick pavers and decorative railings. As a condition of the award, The City Commission required Tecina International, Inc., to provide a performance bond. Repositioning of the ballfield required extra grading and installation of additional sod. Funds for the increase in contract are available from monk- already appropriated for the project in the City's Capital Improvement Ordinance, Project Number 331359. 95- 38 0,91- 01 UCtJ-io-ti4 IIUI'I ioluo rUDL1U HVIINO rnn Iru, U I ODU I 1 .... ......... .._. Ut - CITY OF MIAMI.
