BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following individuals, recommended by the Coconut Grove Village Council, are hereby appointed as members of the Coconut Grove Parking Advisory Committee, to fill the remainder of unexpired terms ending July 25, 1996: Michael Goldstein Tucker Gibbs Section 2. Four out of a total of 9 vacancies were recommended by the Coconut Grove Village Council to be confirmed by the City Commission. All nine appointments were made. Since then, two of the appointees, namely, Michael J. Samuels and Cynthia Shelley, have stated that they do not have sufficient time to serve on said committee and have declined. The Village Council has requested that the City Commission consider confirming the appointment of Michael Goldstein and Tucker Gibbs to fill said vacancies. Pursuant to Ordinance 11130, the CGPAC is comprised of mine members appointed by the City Commission, of which four members are recommended by the Village Council. In May 1994, the Village Council submitted the following names: David Gall Joyce Nelson Michael Samuels Cynthia Shelley The Commission ratified these appointments in July, 1994. Mr. Weisberg indicates that Mr. Samuels and Ms. Shelley have subsequently determined that they do not have sufficient time to devote to the CGPAC (they have not attended any meetings). The Village Council has requested that they be substituted with Michael Goldstein and Tucker Gibbs. Please advise me how you would like to proceed. Thank you for your help. �' cc: Clark Cook ?
