We achieve our goal by providing to the Community the following services: Acculturation, Adult Pducat-ion, 23usiness Development, Nlderly Assisr.ance, Employment Development, E.S.O.L. Program, Haiti Outreach Program, Individual and Pamily Counseling, Job Training and Orientation, Youth Crime Prevention, Youth Programs. The foundation has a $ 150,000 loan due to City of Miami which should start being amortized on January 1, 1994. As of this date, and because of different circumstances, no payment has been made on the loan, and so far, we cannot foresee any mean of repaying this debt. We are kindly asking for your assistance to help the Foundation with its request to the City of. Miami to conv©rt the loan into a grant. We would appreciate your considering our request as an Agenda Item to be reflected on the Agenda for the Commission meeting to be held on October 24, 1995, We know that this has been done in other communities and would hope: a similar decision in favor of our community. We take this oppcrtur,ity to express our gratitude and thanks for all the support you have given u8 in our endeavors towards achieving the objectives and goals of the Foundation.
