ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A NEW SPECIAL
REVENUE FUND ENTITLED "YWCA OVERTOWN/CULMER
CHILD DAY CARE FACILITY REHABILITATION", AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR FROM
METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY GRANT, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $250,000; SAID GRANT FUNDS TO BE COMBINED
WITH CITY FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $325,000,
FOR THE CITY TO ADMINISTER AND COMPLETE THE
REHABILITATION OF THE OVERTOWN/CULMER CHILD
DAY CARE FACILITY; CONTAINING A REPEALER
PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.

WHEREAS, the City/6Miami is committed to revitalization of
eight neighbo o t areas; and
WHEREAS, o pril 12, 1990, t e Commission adopted

to Resolution N -808,
ilitation and establishment of
the Overtown YWCA Building; and
1991, the City Commission, pursuant
approved Amendment No. 1 which
allocated an additional $25,000 to complete the financing
required to construct the child day care center; and
WHEREAS, on July 14, 1994, pursuant to Resolution No. 94-
514, the City Commission approved Amendment No. 2 which provided
an additional $200,000 from 18th and 19th Year Community
Development Block Grant funds to complete the rehabilitation of
the child day care facility; and
