BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Commission hereby confirms the election of the following individuals, as members of the Overtime Advisory Board, each member to serve a term of one year from the date of election, which took place on August 29, 1996: Dane Braddy And Son Cljrry Dorothy Fields Charles Flowers RehPcca Ttnff j Section 2. City Clerk CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA INTER -OFFICE MEMORANDUM DATE : October 29,1996 FILE : SUBJECT : Eight Confirmation of Appointments Needed to the Overtown Advisory Board REFERENCES: (November 21,1996 Agenda) ENCLOSURES: (List of Members) The Overtown Advisory Board was created to encourage and support historic preservation and provide recommendations to the City Commission regarding all City funded or assisted activities, developments, or improvements within the Overtown area. There are presently eight seats on the Overtown Advisory Board which have either expired terms, resignations or members who were absent excessively. An election to vote for members to said board was held on August 29, 1996. The members of the board are to be elected by Overtown residents, property owners or employees. There were eight individuals who qualified as candidates. All eight were elected, namely: Dana Brady, Anderson Curry, Dorothy Fields, Charles Flowers, Robe= Jeff, Larry Joseey, teary Major and Balam Welcome. It will now be appropriate for the Commission to confirm said individuals as members of the Overtown Advisory Board.
