J 6^ 755 �1 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS TO SERVE AS MEMBERS OF THE PROPERTY AND ASSET REVIEW COMMITTEE FOR TERMS AS DESIGNATED HEREIN. i BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following individuals are hereby appointed as members of the Property and Asset Review Committee, each member to . serve a term expiring May 5, 1997, or until the nominating commissioner leaves office, whichever occurs first: APPOINTEES: NOMINATED BY: No appointment Made Mayor Joe Carollo Darryl Sharpton Commissioner Richard P. IN ON S, III CITY ATTO VY W1095:BSS r CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA INTER -OFFICE MEMORANDUM To : Honorable Members of DATE September 18, 1996 FILE the City Commission SUBJECT : Three Appointments Needed to the Property and Asset Review Committee FROM: Walter J. em REFERENCES: (October 10, 1996 Agenda) City Clerk ENCLOSURES: (List of Members) The Property and Asset Review Committee was created to review all properties and assets of the City and make specific recommendations and proposals to the City Commission with i respect to the current or future use and development of the City's properties and assets. City Code Section 2-429 states: "The terms of office of the members of each board shall run concurrently with the term of office of the commissioner that nominates each member. When the nominating commissioner leaves office the board member's term shall expire." Three appointments are needed at this time: Barreto who had Mayor Carollo has one nomination. Said seat is presently held by Roger h been nominated by former Mayor Clark for a term which expired on May 5, 1996, Commissioner Regalado has one nomination. Said seat is presently held by Neal Harrington, who had been nominated by then Commissioner Carollo for a term which will expire on May 5, 1997. Commissioner Dunn has one nomination. Said seat is presently held by Darryl Sharpton, who had been nominated by former Commissioner Dawkins, for a term which will expire on May 5, 1997. For your information, attached please find a copy of the current membership of said committee.
