At the Commission meeting of July 25, 1996, the Commission passed a resolution which was to nominate five individuals, per neighborhood, to represent the neighborhoods of Allapattah, Little Havana, Model City, Overtown and Wynwoed, from which nominees the Board of County Commissioners will select two from each neighborhood to serve on the Federal Enterprise Community Council, The Commission at that time stated it would submit its nominations in writing to the City Clerk, No nominations have been received by the City Clerk to date, Commissioners Regalado and Dunn were not members of the City Commission during the July 26th Commission meeting, therefore ten appointments are needed at this time: Commissioner Regalado has five nominations, one for each of the neighborhoods listed above, Commissioner Dunn has five nominations, one for each of the neighborhoods listed above. By copy of this memorandum, we are requesting that the Agenda Office place this issue on the October 10, 1996 Commission agenda. WJF:sl cc: Merrett Stierheim, City Manager A.
