CORPORATION IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF $225,126.75, BASE BID OF THE PROPOSAL, FOR THE PROJECT ENTITLED;"MERRILL STEVENS GROUNDS AND PARKING AREA, H-1091" ALSO KNOWN AS DINNER KEY RECREATIONAL FACILITY PARKING AREA, WITH MONIES THEREFOR ALLOCATED FROM D.S.R. 03041 — PROJECT NO. 418402 AS APPROPRIATED BY THE FISCAL YEAR 1995-96 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT ORDINANCE NO. 11337, AS AMENDED, IN THE AMOUNT OF $225,126,75 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST AND $21,467.55 TO COVER THE ESTIMATED EXPENSES, FOR AN ESTIMATED TOTAL COST OF $246,594.30; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT, IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, WITH SAID FIRM. s WHEREAS, sealed bids were received December 19, 1995, for "Merrill Stevens Grounds & Parking Area, H-1091" also known as i Dinner Key Recreational Facility Parking Area; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of the Department of Public Works recommend that the bid received from P.N.M. CORPORATION, be accepted as the lowest responsible and responsive bid; and WHEREAS, funds are available from Fiscal Year 1995-96 Capital Improvement Ordinance No. 11337, as amended by B.S.R. 03041 - Project No. 418402, for the proposed amount of the contract, project expenses and incidentals, under such funds; F CITY COMMISSION MEETING OF 0 C T 1 0 1996 {{�� aa Resolution No, 96ti ` d 20 r NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference thereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The December 19, 1995 bid of P.N.M. CORPORATION, in the proposed amount of $225,126.75, for the project entitled "Merrill Stevens Grounds & Parking Area, H-1091" also known as Dinner Key Recreational Facility Parking Area, for the total base bid of the proposal, based on a lump sum and unit price, is hereby accepted at the price stated therein. Section 3. The total estimated project cost of $246,594.30 is hereby allocated from the Fiscal Year 1995-96 Capital Improvement Ordinance, No. 11337, as amended by D.S.R. 03041 - Project No. 418402. Said total project cost consists of the $225,216.75 contract cost and $21,467.55 estimated expenses incurred by the City. Section 4. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contracts, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, on behalf of the City of Miami with P.N.M.
