BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA Section 1. Foema City Clerk CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA INTER -OFFICE MEMORANDUM FILE : SUBJECT :Ten Appointments Needed to the Latin Quarter Review Board REFERENCES: (April 25, 1996 Agenda) ENCLOSURES: (List of Members) The Latin Quarter Review Board was created to certify whether the design of developments/improvements within the Latin Quarter district are in conformance vyith Latin Quarter guidelines. The board is to recommend to the Director of the Department of Community Planning and Revitalization modifications/amendmentsto Latin Quarter guidelines. Please be aware that City Code Section 62-78 states in part: "(1) Two (2) members may be registered architects in the state. If a registered architect, each such member shall have had five years' experience after registration in the practice of his profession and must either be a resident of or have his principal place of business in the city. (2) Two (2) other members may be professional engineers, registered landscape architects, or registered architects. (3) One (1) member may be an architectural historian or a historian." All ten of the board's members have terms which expire May .5, 1996. Each member of the Commission nominates two individuals to said board. For your information, attached please find a copy of the current membership of said board.
