The authority shall endeavor to attract professional sports franchises to utilize faciliites in the City. Members shall be qualified electors of Dade County. i Twelve of the authority's members have terms which expire May 5, 1996. Each Commissioner nominates two individuals to said authority. The Mayor nominates three individuals. The Commission at -large appoints one additional member. For your information, attached please find a copy of the current membership of said authority. A member of the city commission shall be elected to an office hereby created and hereby designated "vice -mayor." All of the powers and duties of the mayor under the Charter, this Code or other ordinances of the city shall be performed by the vice -mayor during the absence or disability of the mayor.
