RUSSIA AMATEUR BOXING TOURNAMENT TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE METRO DADE INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR BOXING FOUNDATION, ON JUNE 9 - 18, 1996; AUTHORIZING THE USE OF WYNWOOD AND HADLEY PARKS FOR THE EXHIBITION BOXING EVENT TO BE HELD ON JUNE 13, 1996; FURTHER, WAIVING ALL WAIVABLE FEES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $10,000 FOR THE USE OF DINNER KEY AUDITORIUM FOR THE BOXING TOURNAMENT TO BE HELD ON JUNE 17, 1996 AND ALLOCATING AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $8,000 FROM SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND ACCOUNTS TO COVER THE SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE FOR ALL EVENTS OF SAID TOURNAMENT; SAID AUTHORIZATIONS, WAIVERS AND ALLOCATIONS CONDITIONED UPON THE ORGANIZERS COMPLYING WITH ALL CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS AS MAY BE PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The use of Wynwood and Hadley Parks for the exhibition boxing event to be conducted by the Metro Dade International Amateur Boxing Foundation (the "Boxing Foundation"), to be held on June 13, 1996, is hereby authorized. Section 2. All waivable fees, in an amount not to exceed $10,000, are hereby waived for the use of Dinner Key Auditorium for the United States Vs. Russia Amateur Boxing Tournament, to be conducted by the Boxing Foundation, to be held on June 17, 1996. CITY COMMISSION MEETING OF MAR 2 6 1996 Resolution No. 96- 225 yii-tii:.v8 Section 3. Funds therefor, in an amount not to exceed $8,000, are hereby allocated from Special Programs and Accounts to cover the services to be provided by the Department of Police for all events of the tournament. Section 4. The herein authorizations, waivers and I allocations are hereby conditioned upon the organizers complying with all conditions and limitations as may be prescribed by the City Manager or his designee. i Section 5.
