BACKGROUND: Certain seawall improvement projects are included in the City's six year Capital Improvement Program to correct seawall problems under the City's jurisdiction. The City has identified a necessary project within the Morningside neighborhood, totaling $68,500 that qualifies for these funds and a successful Proposal for a cost -share agreement would provide $34,250 (50%) of State funds for this project. Funds are available for the City's share of the cost from Local Option Gas Tax Funds.
