Plummer 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, F1 33133 Dear Commissioner Plummer: PACE 2 please accept this letter as a formal request for permission to use, the City of Miami Marine Stadium for volunteer parking during the Royal Caribbean Classic. Our tournament dates this year are January 29 - February 4. The number of cars expected each day would be a minimum of 50, not to exceed approximately 300 cars per day on the weekend. please keep in mind that this parking area will be used strictly for our volunteers, and will not be a revenue producing lot in any way. The volunteers contribute their time to help the Royal Caribbean Classic raise ,money for a number of South Florida charities including The Miami Project; The Mast Academy; Easter seals of Dade County, Success by Six, and Metro-Dadels Adopt -A -Park program. Royal Caribbean will provide lights, security and a restroom facility as required while the lot is in use. Also, so as not to interfere with the Miami Rowing Club in any way, we will rope and pull a prime for 100 cars to be used exclusively for club members, as we did in 1995. We would appreciate your considering this request for the 1996 event. Thank you for your consideration and please feel free to contact me should you have any questions regarding this request.
