ENCLOSURES: (1)
The provisions of the City Charter require that the City Commission elect the City
Manager, City Clerk and City Attorney. The term of the City Manager is indefinite. and,
therefore, no resolution is required unless so directed by the Commission. However, it is
necessary that the City Commission elect and appoint the City Clerk and the City Attorney to hold
said Offices until the first meeting following the next regular City election.
Thus, in order to comply with City Charter provisions, I have prepared and attached for
your consideration the required resolution electing and reappointing myself as City Attorney, to
hold office until the first meeting following the next regular City election.
