QUINN JONES, III, AS CITY ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, TO HOLD OFFICE AS PROVIDED FOR IN THE CITY CHARTER. WHEREAS, the City Charter provides that the City Commission hall elect and appoint a City Attorney; and WHEREAS, the City Commission is obligated to elect and ppoint a City Attorney to hold office until the first Commission eeting following the next regular City election, as provided for n the City Charter; and WHEREAS, A. Quinn Jones, III, has competently performed his uties as City Attorney in a capable and professional manner; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY F MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. A. Quinn Jones, III, is hereby 'elected and un eappointed as City Attorney of the City of Miami, Florida, upon he same terms and conditions presently existing, to hold office til the first meeting following the next regular municipal lection, as provided for in the City Charter. Section 2. The term of the City Manager is indefinite. and, therefore, no resolution is required unless so directed by the Commission. However, it is necessary that the City Commission elect and appoint the City Clerk and the City Attorney to hold said Offices until the first meeting following the next regular City election. Thus, in order to comply with City Charter provisions, I have prepared and attached for your consideration the required resolution electing and reappointing myself as City Attorney, to hold office until the first meeting following the next regular City election.
