City Code Section 2-429 states: "The terms of office of the members of each board shall run concurrently with the term of office of the commissioner that nominates each member. When the nominating commissioner leaves office the board member's term shall expire." Twenty-two appointments are needed at this time: • Mayor Carollo has five nominations. Two of said seats are vacancies. Three of said seats are presently held by Marie Rodriguez, Sonia Yahr-Scheider and Debra Weiss Goodstone, who had all been nominated by former Mayor Clark for terms which expired on July 14, 1996. • Vice Mayor Gort has four nominations. Said seats are presently held by individuals who had been appointed from a slate presented by the board liaison on July 14, 1994 for terms which expired on July 14, 1996. • Commissioner Plummer has three nominations. Two of said seats are presently held by individuals who had been appointed from a slate presented by the board liaison on July 14, 1994 for terms which expired on July 14, 1996. One seat is a vacancy created by the resignation of Nancy Minett. • Commissioner Damn has five nominations. Three of said seats are presently held by individuals who had been appointed from a slate presented by the board liaison on July 14, 1994 for terms which expired on July 14, 1996. Two seats are presently held by Rosie Gordon -Wallace and Annette Eisenberg, who had been nominated by former Commissioner Dawkins for terms which will expire on July 14, 1997. • Commissioner Regalado has five nominations. Two of said nominations are for seats presently held by Nora Swan and Janet Cooper, who had been nominated by then Commissioner Carollo for terms which expired on July 14, 1996. The other three nominations are presently held by individuals who had been appointed from a slate presented by the board liaison on July 14, 1994 for terms which expired on July 14, 1996.
