SETTING SEPTEMBER 3, 1996, AS THE DATE OF SUCH
ELECTION AND FURTHER ESTABLISHING AUGUST 12, 1996,
AT 6:00 P.M. AS THE QUALIFYING DATE THEREFOR;
CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE.
A MOTION INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO INCLUDE IN
THE TEXT OF ADVERTISEMENTS PUBLISHED IN
CONNECTION WITH CITY OF MIAMI ELECTIONS TO FILL
SEATS ON THE CITY COMMISSION, REQUESTING
POTENTIAL CANDIDATES TO: (1) SHOW PROOF OF
RESIDENCY FOR SIX MONTHS NEXT PRECEDING THE
ELECTION, AND (2) PAY QUALIFYING AND ASSESSMENT
FEES WITH A CAMPAIGN CHECK.
