ELECTIONS, AMENDING CHAPTER 16 OF THE CODE OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING
PROVISIONS AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE
ACTIONS IN CIRCUIT COURT CHALLENGING CANDIDATE'S
QUALIFICATIONS; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION
AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
A MOTION INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO FORWARD
THE COMPLETED APPLICATION WITH ALL THE PERTINENT
INFORMATION THAT WAS FILED BY MS. JACQUELINE MARIA
CHEDIAK, CANDIDATE IN THE JULY" 23, 1996 SPECIAL
MAYORAL ELECTION, TO THE STATE ATTORNEY'S OFFICE
FOR PROPER INVESTIGATION OF POSSIBLE PERJURY
WITHIN THE AFFIDAVIT OF CANDIDATE FILED BY SAID
INDIVIDUAL.
