Since we are a working class neighborhood we need a time certain after 6:00 p.m. We want to know in writing exactly how the police department plan to enforce the noise ordinance and stop this public nuisance. cc: City of Miami Commissioners City Manager Police Chief Warshaw r 9 - OFFICIAL COMPLAINT WE ARE RESIDENTS OF COCONUT GROVE, THAT LIVE IN THE VACINITY OF GRAND AVENUE AND M4RGARET STREET. OUR COMPLAINT CONCERNS THE LOITERINGOF YOUNG KIDS AND TEENAGERS THAT CONGREGATE EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT, AT THE FINA GAS STATION ON, GRAND AVENUE. THIS OCCURS FROM 10:30 PM UNTIL 3:00 AM IN THE MORNING. THEY PLAY THEIR CAR STEREOS VERY LOUDLY, DRIVE UP AND DOWN THE SIDE STREETS, PARTICIPATE IN CAR CLUBS, WHICH INVOLVES SHOWING OFF THE HYDRAULICS ON THEIR CARS.. THIS IS DISTURBING OUR PEACE. WE :HAVE CONSTANTLY COMPLAINED TO THE MIAMI POLICE DEPARTMENT EVERY WEEKEND. IT TAKES UP TO TWO (2) HOURS BEFORE A UNIT ARRIVES AT THE GAS STATION AND TELLS THEM TO MOVE. BUT, THERE IS ALWAYS AT LEAST FIVE (5) OFFICERS PARKED AT THE TACO BELL RESTAURANT (ON U.S. 1 & 32"d AVE) AND TWICE AS MANY IN COCOWALK WE, AS TAXPAYERS, DO NOT FEEL THAT WE SHOULD HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS, AND WOULD LIKE FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI'S MAYOR, BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, CITY MANAGER AND CHIEF OF POLICE TO INVESTIGATE AND PROVIDE OUR NEIGHBORHOOD WITH IMMEDIATE RELIEF AND PEACEFUL WEEKENDS.
