A resolution accepting the bid of Gregori International of Florida, Inc., in the proposed amount of three million one-o-eight-o-eight-one-o- o, total bid of the proposal for the project entitled MelReese Golf Course Reservations, B-3255 for the fiscal year 1995/96, Capital Improvement Ordinance No. 11337 as amended, `project number, 416048 in the amount of three million one-o-eight-o-eight-one-o-o, to cover the contract 'cost and ten... ten million? Commissioner Dawkins: No, ten thousand. Commissioner Plummer: Well, then you got too many zeros in there, my friend. Mr. Odio: Change your glasses, please, sir. Commissioner Plummer: No, no, it's not my glasses. Vice Mayor Gort: It is. He's correct. Mr. Wally Leer He is correct. Yes, sir. Mr. Odio: No. Don't say that. Commissioner Plummer: Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to cover the estimated expenses for an authorized total cost of three million one-one-eight-o-eight-one-o-o; authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract in a form acceptable to the City Attorney with said firm. Mr. Mayor, I'm willing to offer such a motion with an amendment. Mayor Clark: All right. Commissioner Plummer: The amendment... Is it seconded? Vice Mayor Gort: Second for discussion purposes. Commissioner Plummer: The amendment is that we were informed by the City Manager via the City Attorney that this matter would be coming to a conclusion of the challenge in the courts either in the next_ day or two, possibly tomorrow morning. And, of course, if the City has a; problem with the challenge, then this would... I want to make sure that it does not, in any way, give a'vested interest to this contractor at this particular point, that it would be held in abeyance. And if the City prevails tomorrow in court, it's a go item. If it's not, the City has a problem, then I think it needs to come back before the Commission. Vice Mayor Gort: You coming out...
