Commission Memorandum
December 18, 1997
To: Chairman and Members of
the City Commission
From: Frank Rollason
Interim City Manager
Subject: Authorization of a Professional Services Agreement
Recommendation
The Administration recommends that the City Commission adopt a Professional
Services Agreement with Robert Nachlinger until September 30, 1998, in an amount not
to exceed $40,000.
Background
With the departure of Nachlinger on December 31, 1997, the City needs financial
assistance until such time as a replacement can be employed. This replacement is
anticipated to occur as soon as possible in this fiscal year. He will be needed to work with
his replacement to insure that the knowledge of City plans can be transmitted and that the
progress can be maintained. Until that occurs he would be available to the Mayor, the
City Commission, the City Manager, City Departments, the Financial Advisor and to
assist with the Financial Oversight Board.
