This clean-up campaign is the result of a request from Vice Mayor Regalado to explore the use of CDBG Funds to conduct a special clean up of the City. This clean-up will be done in each of the Community Development target areas and will concentrate on cleaning up the trash and debris that is not included in the regular curbside collection of garbage or trash in the low- and moderate -income neighborhoods. The interim assistance activities benefit all persons residing in the area, at least 51 % of which are low- or moderate -income persons. The program will employ approximately seventy-five (75) persons and work up to a maximum of four (4) months. In addition, the program will be leveraged with the Neighborhood Jobs Program funds where possible. <shared-memosvh>mayorcc22 1 V7 60g
