ITY OF MIAMI, UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE ELEVENTH CIRCUIT, CASE NOS: 91-5316; 92-5145 AND 95-4555; ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR FROM THE SELF-INSURANCE AND INSURANCE TRUST FUND, ACCOUNT CODE NO. 620103-661, FOR SAID SERVICES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The allocation of funds, in an amount not to exceed $15,000, is hereby authorized for the continued engagement of the law firm of Davis, Scott, Weber & Edwards as counsel to the City of Miami in connection with the mediation in Michael Pottinger., Peter Carter and Bprry Young v City of Miami, United States Court Of Appeals For The Eleventh Circuit, Case Nos: 91-5316; 92-5145 & 95-4555, with funds therefor hereby allocated from the Self -Insurance and Insurance Trust Fund, Account Code No. 620103-661 for said services. REFERENCES pottinger, Carter and Young ENCLOSURES The attached proposed Resolution, submitted for your consideration, provides for an increased allocation, in an amount not to exceed $15,000, for legal services rendered by the law firm of Davis, Scott, Weber & Edwards in connection with the mediation process for Michael no _ i ngpr, Peter rartgr and B rrv� Young v_ City of Miami, United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, Case Nos.,,91-5316, 92-5145 and 95-4555. Funds for said services are available from the City of Miami Self - Insurance and Insurance Trust Fund, Index Code No. 620101-653. While substantial progress has been achieved, the mediation process is still ongoing. As indicated previously, I am unable at this time to project when mediation will be concluded.
