BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. BACKGROUND: The Office of Equal Opportunity/Diversity Programs respectfully requests the appointment of seven (7) individuals and the confirmation of one (1) individual to the Affirmative Action Advisory Board. At this time, there are no Anglos represented on the Board, compared to approximately 10% of the Miami general population. Mayor Carollo, Commissioner Regalado and Commissioner Hernandez have two (2) appointments each. Commissioner Plummer has one (1) appointment. The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees requests the confirmation of Isabel Kato. These appointments are in accordance with Ordinance 11130, Section 2-428, Membership on Boards.
