A RESOLUTION, WITH ATTACHMENT (S), RESCINDING IN ITS ENTIRETY, RESOLUTION NO. 96-506, ADOPTED JULY 11, 1996, THEREBY REMOVING THE RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR ACCESS TO CERTAIN STREETS IN THE MODEL CITY NEIGHBORHOOD IN THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, IN ACCORDANCE WITH PLAN "A", AS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF; DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE ADMINISTRATION TO REMOVE ALL BARRICADES ON SUCH STREETS TO PERMIT VEHICULAR ACCESS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Resolution No. 96-506, adopted July 11, 1996, is hereby rescinded in its entirety, thereby removing the restriction of vehicular access to certain streets in the Model City neighborhood in the City of Miami, Florida, in accordance with Plan "A", as attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 2. The City Manager is hereby directed to instruct the Administration to remove all barricades on such streets to permit vehicular access. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. At this time, the Metro -Dade County Commission is seeking our cooperation to implement a new program designed to increase the safety of our residents. However, in order to initiate this new effort the previously mentioncd barricades must be removed.
