Progressive Leadership
The Omni Advisory Board, composed of business leaders and area
residents, began organizing the Omni community three years ago to bring
new life to a dying industrial area, by creating an. environment
conducive to instituting an ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT
DISTRICT in downtown Miami.
The community leaders have worked very diligently toward their stated
goals. The PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, slated to begin
construction in 1998 will be their cornerstone.
Geographically, the Omni neighborhood is graced by one of the most
beautiful areas in the nation. Its serene turquoise bay, graceful islands,

By enhancing our GATEWAYS the community is announcing its
commitment to potential investors, commercial concerns, and residents
that the area is definitely on its upward spiral and therefore ripe for
redevelopment.
