OAB Progressive Leadership The Omni Advisory Board, composed of business leaders and area residents, began organizing the Omni community three years ago to bring new life to a dying industrial area, by creating an. environment conducive to instituting an ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT in downtown Miami. The community leaders have worked very diligently toward their stated goals. The PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, slated to begin construction in 1998 will be their cornerstone. Geographically, the Omni neighborhood is graced by one of the most beautiful areas in the nation. Its serene turquoise bay, graceful islands, PR EANOR KLUGER PRESIDENT easyaccess to rime business centers as well as delightful tropical P g' climate, make the area a prime target for year-round activity.
