BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. An amount not to exceed $18,000 is hereby allocated from FY 198-99 Budgeted Funds of the Civil Service Office, Account No. 240101-250, for payment of compensation to Special Counsel, including any required related litigation services, for the Civil Service Board.11 Section 2. The services of special counsel as legal advisor to the Civil Service Board are required as the City Attorney cannot represent and prosecute violators of actions in conflict with Civil Service Rules and Regulations before the Civil Service Board. Funds for said compensation are available from Fiscal Year `98-99 budgeted funds of the Civil Service Office, Account No. 240101-250. The compensation is payable as earned during the period of such counsel's employment. If approved, payment of compensation, in the amount of $18,000.00, for Special Counsel to the Civil Service Board will be authorized. Funds for said compensation are available from Fiscal Year `98-99 budgeted funds of the Civil Service Office, Account No. 240101-250. The compensation is payable -as earned during the period of such counsel's employment.
