("WEISS"), AND THE CITY ATTORNEY'S CONTINUED ENGAGEMENT OF SAID FIRM, IN CONNECTION WITH TWO LAWSUITS, IVEY KEARSON, JR. VS. THE CITY OF MIAMI AND THE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD, IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE ELEVENTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT, CASE NOS. 96-238 AP AND 96-242 AP, WITH FEES FOR SAID SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $20,000; ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR FROM THE SELF-INSURANCE AND INSURANCE TRUST FUND, ACCOUNT CODE NO. 515001.424401.6.661. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The payment of fees for legal services provided to the City of Miami by the law firm of Weiss, Serota Helfman Pastoriza & Guedes, P.A. ("Weiss"), and the City Attorney's continued engagement of said firm , at an hourly rate of $150.00 per hour, in connection with two lawsuits, Ivey Kearson, Jr. vs. the City Of Miami and the Civil Service Board, in the Circuit Court of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, Case Nos. 96-238 AP and 96-242 AP, is hereby authorized, with funds therefor, in an amount not to exceed $20,000, hereby allocated from the Self -Insurance and Insurance Trust Fund, Account Code CM coreasswK JMETMG OF 0 C T 13 1998 Bawlntion If% 98-1931 No. 515001.424401.6.661, for said services. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.1/ PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of October 1998.
