BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The board also reviews employment policies and practices of the City and makes recommendations to the Personnel Department. Five appointments and one confirmation are needed at this time: • Commissioner Plummer has two nominations for seats currently vacant due to the resignation of Vicky Leiva and excessive absences of Robert Grill. • Commissioner Gort has two nominations for seats currently held by Ramiro Marrero and Nora Hernandez Hendrix, whose terms have expired. • Commissioner Sanchez has one nomination for seat currently held by Ivan Barrett who had been nominated by former Commissioner Hernandez. • The Commission at large is being requested to confirm the appointment of Lt. Edward Pidermann as representative of the Miami International Association of Firefighers. For your information, attached please find a copy of the current membership of said board.
