Warshaw REFERENCES: City Manager ENCLOSURES: RECOMMENDATION July 14, 1998 29 Proposed Millage Rates for FY' 99 It is recommended that the City Commission approve the Fiscal Year 1998-99 proposed millage rates for the City of Miami and establish meeting dates and times for the first and second public hearings on the 1998-99 Budget. BACKGROUND The proposed FY'99 Operating and Debt Service millage rates for the City of Miami are as follows: General Operating Budget 9.5995 Debt Service 1.7900 Total Millage 11.3895 The above total rate is lower than the FY'98 rates by 0.13 mills.
