RATE FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, FOR FISCAL
YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1998 AND ENDI G
SEPTEMBER 30, 1999; DIRECTING THE CITY MAN
TO SUBMIT SAID PROPOSED MILLAGE RATE T HE

Proposed Millage Rates
for FY' 99
It is recommended that the City Commission approve the Fiscal Year 1998-99 proposed
millage rates for the City of Miami and establish meeting dates and times for the first and
second public hearings on the 1998-99 Budget.
BACKGROUND
The proposed FY'99 Operating and Debt Service millage rates for the City of Miami are as
follows:
General Operating Budget 9.5995
Debt Service 1.7900
Total Millage 11.3895
The above total rate is lower than the FY'98 rates by 0.13 mills.

Recommended Public Hearing dates for the FY '99 Budget are as follows:
